Silk on silk needlework picture of a young girl with her lamb.  Signed on the glass for Alma Cornelia Ives (1793-1856) of Wallingford, Connecticut.  Probably worked at Miss Royse's School, Hartford, Connecticut, circa 1810.   In excellent condition, retaining the original eglomese glass matte and black painted frame.
Pastel on paper portrait of a young gentleman in original Rococo frame.  Attributed to James Sharples (active 1796-1811), of Boston, Massachusetts, circa 1800.
